DMU Alumni Association Singapore (DMUAAS) was established on 1 November 2012 and is a legal organisation officially registered with the Singapore Registry of Societies. A national trade association, the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA) was formed in 1985. It represents a wide spectrum of shipping companies and other businesses allied to the shipping industry, with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness of Singapore as an International Maritime Centre.
